Who can play

You need to be 18 or older to use Boldcall. Where the adult age is higher, you need to be that age.

Why 18

Boldcall is a game of friendly bets with your friends and family. There's no money, no prizes and no in-app purchases. Betting games are still grown-up content, so Boldcall is for adults.

How we check

When you sign up, you confirm you're 18 or older. Some states now make app stores check age. Where they do, Apple and Google share an age range with us, and we use it to keep Boldcall 18 and up.

If someone under 18 signs up

We close the account and delete their info. Think someone under 18 is using Boldcall? Email [email protected] and we'll look into it.

On for every account

• Only people with an invite can see or join a group. There's no private messaging.
• Names stay off public rankings unless you turn them on.
• Quiet hours for notifications (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.) are on from the start.
• Posts get checked for slurs, threats and personal info before they go up.
• Dares can't involve money, alcohol, drugs or anything dangerous.
• A real person reviews every report, aiming for 24 hours.

Parents, here's how to reach us

• If your child under 18 made an account, email [email protected]. We'll check that you're their parent or guardian, then delete the account and their info.
• To report something, email [email protected].
• Screen Time on iPhone and Family Link on Android can block any app, Boldcall included.
