Why
Yes, they're bets. Friendly ones. No money goes in, and nothing with cash value comes out. Put money on it and the question changes from "who got it right?" to "what are the odds?" Everyone plays it safe, and playing it safe is exactly what our scoring punishes. Money bets also need everyone's picks out in the open to set the odds. Boldcall keeps picks hidden until reveal day.
What we won't add
- Odds, prices or payouts.
- Entry fees, prize pools, sweepstakes or giveaways tied to picks.
- Any way to buy, sell, trade or cash out points.
- Links, ads or referrals to sportsbooks, prediction markets or casinos.
- Any payment code in the app.
What a dare looks like
"Loser wears the rival jersey to brunch." "Loser makes coffee all week." Dares are things you do. Type a dollar sign, a currency word or a payment app name and Boldcall strips it out before it posts, on our server, not just your phone. We never hold, check or enforce a dare.
